The LATCH Breastfeeding Support Group is a weekly support group for breastfeeding moms.
What happens at these group meetings?
You can do a baby weigh-in, get latch assistance, and create friendships with other moms all in a supportive environment led by lactation consultant Darla Burns, IBCLC.
Some weeks, a speaker will come in to talk about topics related to breastfeeding, physical and mental health, infant development, etc
Do I have to be an exclusively breastfeeding mom?
NO! Breastfeeding looks different to everyone! If you are exclusively breastfeeding; exclusively pumping; partially breastfeeding and partially formula feeding….All are welcome.
Where will this group meet?
This group will meet at Pure Births Birth Center located at 24355 Lyons Ave, Suite 130, Santa Clarita, CA 91321. We meet in the classroom.
Do I have to be a patient of Pure Births to attend?
NO! Everyone is welcome, regardless of where you gave birth.
What does it cost to attend?
This class will be on a donation basis and can be paid via Zelle or Venmo the day of class. You MUST register for each date you will attend due to limited space.

Due to limited space, we ask that you bring your breastfeeding child only.
Please do not bring your stroller into the classroom
General Rules and Expectations
Privacy and Confidentiality: What is shared in the group stays in the group. You must respect other parents' personal stories and struggles.
Respectful Communication: No shaming, blaming, or negative comments about personal feeding choices (such as formula use, pumping, or combination feeding).
Health and Wellness: Do not attend in-person meetings if you, your baby, or household members have signs of a contagious illness (fever, cough, or stomach bug).
Registration and Attendance Policies
Advance Sign-Up: We require online registration beforehand to keep group sizes small and manageable.
Guest Policies: Attendance is limited to the primary caregiver and infant to keep the room quiet and focused.
Scope of Care: Support groups offer peer support and general guidance, but they do not replace individual, one-on-one medical care or a formal private lactation consultation.
Refunds: There are no refunds for donations made.
